    Detection Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Emplacement Using Infrared Image

    This paper presents a method to detect an improvised explosive device (IED) by using infrared thermography (IRT) technology. The detection of IED will be done automatically and accurately even the IED detection expert is not present. Combining the advantage of IRT and image processing technique, the proposed method is very efficient and responsive to detect the existence of hidden IED. The captured images are filtered and segmented to extract the heat pattern before the decision is made. Based on the experimental result, the proposed system produced about 92 % of detection accuracy

    The multifocus image fusion is a kind of method in image processing to collecting the sharp information from multifocus image sequence. This method is purposed to simplify the reader understand the complex information of image sequence in an image only. There are many methods to generate fused image from several images so far. Many researchers have developed many new and sophisticated methods. They show complicated computation and algorithm. So, that it is difficult to understand by the new students or viewer. Furthermore, they get difficulties to create the new one. In order to handle this problem, the proposed method a concise algorithm which is able to generate an accurate fused image without using a complicated mathematical equation and tough algorithm. The proposed method is the normalized random map of gradient for generating multifocus image fusion. By generate random map of gradient, the algorithm is able to specify the coarse focus region accurately. The random map of gradient is a kind of information formed independently from independent matrix. This data has a significant role in predict the initial focus regions. The proposed algorithm successes to supersede difficulties of mathematical equations and algorithms. It successes to eliminate the mathematical and algorithm problems. Furthermore, the evaluation of proposed method based on the fused image quality. The Mutual Information and Structure Similarity Indexes become our key parameter assessment. The results show that the outputs have high indexes. It means it is acceptable. Then the implementation of multifocus image fusion will increase the quality of the applied fields such as remote sensing, robotics, medical diagnostics and so on. It is also possible implemented in other new fields

It causes human injury, loss of life and economical problem. There are a few factors that caused landslide but the main factor is heavy rain. Hence, to solve this issue, this study investigates a new method to detect spots of high water saturation which is integrated with a thermal camera system to provide early detection of landslide. The thermal camera is selected because it provides accurate predict where landslide going to occur. Thermal camera can be used to detect spots of high water saturation which is a key component that contributes to landslide activity. The technique of neural network is used to classify the image of water saturation. The analysis is done using 40 samples.     Performance Comparison of Deep Learning Models to Detect Covid-19 Based on X-Ray Images

    The SARS-Cov-2 outbreak caused by a coronavirus infection shocked dozens of countries. This disease has spread rapidly and become a new pandemic, a serious threat and even destroys various sectors of life. Along with technological developments, various deep learning models have been developed to classify between Covid-19 and Normal X-ray images of lungs, such as Inception V3, Inception V4 and MobileNet. These models have been separately reported to perform good classification on Covid-19. However, there is no comparison of their performance in classifying Covid-19 on the same data. This research aims to compare the performance of the three mentioned deep learning models in classifying Covid-19 based on X-ray images. The methods involve data collection, pre-processing, training, and testing using the three models. According to 2,169 dataset, the InceptionV3 model obtained an average accuracy value of 99.62%, precision value 99.65%, recall value 99.5%, specificity value 99.5%, and f-score value 99.52%; while the InceptionV4 model obtained an average accuracy value of 97.79%, precision value 98.11%, recall value 90.18%, specificity value 90.18%, and f-score value 97.25%; and the MobileNet model obtained an average accuracy value of 99.67%, precision value 99.77%, recall value 99.38%, specificity value 99.38%, and f-score value of 99.67%. The three models can classify the Covid-19 and Normal X-ray images based on research results, while the MobileNet model achieved the best performance. The model has stable performance in achieving graphic results and has extensive layers; the more layers there are to achieve better accuracy results
